Alasan? Tidak berikan. Senyap dan sunyi sahaja. Polis sibuk agaknya, aku berkata dalam diam

Pak Lah kata beliau pantang dicabar!

Suratkabar? Usah buang masa!

Tapi, Rocky kata berpuluh kali ganda dari jumlah Walk for Justice

Shanghai Stephen kata gambar tidak menipu

Sheih kata tiada apa yang terjadi kecuali lensa kameranya rosak

NTV 7 kata tiada apa-apa. Semua stesen TV di tanah air ku kata begitu.

Lain pula ceritanya di Al-Jazera. Malaysia ditertawakan demokrasinya.

Hamba rakyat disembur air, bertempiaran mereka lari menyelamatkan diri

Sahabat-sahabat ku, tepuk dada tanya selera

  1. Ni dah sakit hati sangat ka? Sampai tulis dalam Bahasa Melayu. Apa pun, i’m more than happy to know that you are in the yellow wave.

    Hidup 10 Eleven!

Ye lah Pak Ngah, nanti org kata saya eksyen pulak…tak pernah guna bahasa kebangsaan. Tapi cuba Pak Ngah fikir, macamana saya nak translate “tepuk dada tanya selera”. So I thought to my self, tulis dalam bahasa melayu sahaja, supaya mesejnya terang benderang.

    salam kakak,
yer ker dah bangun, tgk2 lepah nih sambung tido, hampeh!

  4. How you wish that you can just shout “Get the hell out of my country, YOU MORON!!” at their faces, right Elviza?

He he he… ah Sofia, I must have shocked you to the core with my language in the previous posting, haven’t I. So sorry dear, for venting my anger on the blog. Take care

  5. Salam Elviza:

As expected most mainstream media and TVs will either downplay the event or potray it as something gravely sinister. And they say bloggers are giving unfair reportings!!

Ppl always ask: Why go to the street?

I say: When all known and possible avenues are exhausted, when requests are met with silence, when democratic process are being manipulated, when the police force and being manipulated, what else can the rakyat do to make the nation listen? To make the leaders listen.
If they are taken for granted when seeking a fair and transparent electional process, what else can they do? What options to they have at that moment?

Spindoctor! Spin whatever you wanna spin. Deny whatever there is to deny.
The rakyat had made their point and be noticed.

    Salam TA:

Confusing isnt it? Our local report and the international reports. They must have thought that the public are daft.

  6. Thanks sis for posting something of a significant importance here as I am still enjoying your apolotical blog.

Such travesties of being denied a police-permit for the BERSIH rally and other peaceful assemblies only coincides when opposition parties to the ruling BN are organisers or supporting them. This was the sordid powerplay explicitly proven during the Mahathir times.

But when it comes to the issues of championing the rights of the Palestinians (no doubt of thier suffering) and the Bosnians, whatever protest on the streets was and will always be consider valid, with or without police-permits.

In retrospect, when the East Timorese, mostly Christians and when the Chinese were massacred by the native Indonesians when President Suharto was at the helm, Mahathir was reticent to condemned President Suharto or any Indonesians as he did his trademark tirades on the Americans and his relentless diatribe on the Israelis.

Mahathir denatured against a sane dogma when he justified that Malaysian will stick to it’s ‘non-inteference-policy’ on the Indonseian Government during the genocides of the minority Chinese and the brutal and lethal torture of the East Timorese and having even spearhead the admission of Myanmar as a neophyte of ASEAN when NLD’s founder Aung San Suu Kyi was under house arrest reflects he has and never respect for the TRUTH and Human Rights AT ALL but matters of his self-serving-interest such as the servile Palestinaians and Bosnians and his personal coffers that he mauraded from tax-payers.

He slammed the Americans as ‘bias-world -policemmen’, but it was the Americans whom spearhead the war that liberated the Croatians and Bosnians and the fall of President Sladovan Milosevic, the late President of Serbia but when
Suharto steps down and snaked his way out of being prosecuted under the guise of ailments, it was Mahathir who went to his former counterpart with snapping of a few cozy photos, gleefully.

But when Abdullah Badawi, the chosen charlatan
reneged against Mahathir, never on the backbone policies like the NEP or the Islamic state but when Mahathir’s “vision-bridge’ (the surreal bridge connecting the State of Johor and Singapore) was ‘falling-down’, and replaced by the ‘Iskandar Development Zone’ , the ruthless old man spewed venom explicitly on Abdullah Badawi and the hatchet was on. Some bloggers expressed of Mahathir as to redress the misrule of Badawi but I say it’s the typical “business rivalry” like the Chinese racketeers sabotaging one another.

The present administration of Badawi is no better, but a ragtag whom I viewed as someone who walks into the office like a tiger and sits in his CHAIR like a lamb. This is evident when the untouchable Eric Chia, a close crony of Mahathir whom Karpal Singh alleged was hiding
in Mahathir’s house seeking asylum when the later was still PM was prosecuted by the ACA not long when Badawi assume preniership,
and The Special Commision to Enhance the Operations and Management of the Royal Malaysian police was initiated by Badawi touring
every State of the country in it’s factfinding of policemen’ misconduct, established in 2004 enroute to IPCMC which is now as elusive as spotting ‘BIGFOOT’ in the National Zoo.

As a man of his eminent disposition of a few words and reserved of the philippics (when he was declared to be the next PM) to his predecessor, and a man whom duped my whole family into thinking of him as the next ‘messiah’, the Grand Iman of Hadhari is enjoying his stay in the highest office, ever-readily wavers to reneged his intepridities and hollow promises
    when he assume premiership.

Anyone who still have a smidgen of hope to see
the formation of IPCMC, I suggest they can telephone Eric Chia. He probably will tell you, “I am busy with PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi!”

*Sorry for not saying that “I love you” coz I am not in the mood today.

  7. When I heard you spoke Mlay to me the other day…on the day you vented your anger to Moron… I told myself you are so sweet in the way you said ithose angry words… But today when I read your writing…OMG! You are splendid in your writing too… Way to go sis!

I’m with you…and I’m with the rest in Yellow!

  8. Proud of you, Sis. I’m still trying to write a workable BM in my arsenal.. Don’t they realize that putting a news blackout and outright untruthful news reporting makes us a laughing stock?

  9. Hi Elviza,

  12. Although moody….Harrison did show us his mind is clear.
What if he is not moody.
He said it all….and we did walk the talk…did we not……Harrison?

  13. Elviza, it is a new world with blogging. Before Blogging, well where do we get the news!!. There would be a total blackout. No such images like those posted in yours and other blog exist. Now it is a different ball games altogether. Take care.

    Pak,

I read your book review on blogging. It s so good, I m goingto Kinokuniya to get one after friday prayer time today. You made it sound so intriguing!

  14. Alamak E,

BM hang power jugak ya. Syabas, sis.

Maaf. Lupa pulak nak komen lebih awal kat sini. Maklum lah, kawan sibuk baca tentang 10-Sebelas di-blog-blog lain.

Tapi dah karat sikit lah sekarang… Oh, on the wave of change, they all dont know, they are sleeping!

  15. Hey Mitch, I don’t know what’s going on but i did see this in the news here in Jkt. At first i thought they we’re showing the usual protests occuring here, but then when the newscaster mentioned Malaysia I was shocked. I asked people back home and they said it was nothing…i checked the local newspapers online and said it was nothing. But the news here showed other wise?! Herrmmmm?!
