Ayat Ayat Cinta

– Maria Girgis

Jodoh itu rahsia Tuhan, Fahri!” – Aisha

I end this post with another quote from my blogging sister, Norzu: “I am just another writer, still trapped within my truth.

  1. Salam Elviza..

Saya pun tengok cerita ini bersama anak-anak kat Tv…

Cerita yang sangat menarik..bahasa nya yang indah and pelakonnya memang cantik-cantik belaka.

    Wsalam Doc,

Lama tak nampak awak kat sini and I totally agree with you about the movie

  2. Salam,
Saya rasa awak patut baca novelnya. Lebih terkesan rasanya berbanding filem.

You tahu ke kat mana ada buku itu? I tried the local bookstore, to no avail. Thanks.

  3. LOL!

At my better half’s request, last time I brought home the ori DVD from Indo. Dunno what the fuss is all about, but that Rianty Cartwright sure is cute… 🙂

Mish, it suddenlly dawned on me that I felt awkward and embarrassed to be lumped together with Mat B or Kak P -but I’m honored, anyway. You guys are the real deal. Me?

… I’m over the hill / think I’m past my prime /let me see what you got / we are gonna have a whoppin’ good time…
(R.Zimmerman from Spirit On The Water)

Still workin’ on the tag laa… wait arr please?

Could you buy me one too? The DVD I mean? And be done with the excuses, just do the tag, would you?

  4. Aduiiii! Bila menulis politik dan komentari, bukan main macho lagi…

Tapi rupa rupanya kat dalam jiwang banget kamu! LOL

Hahahahahaha, tak tahu lah nak jawab comment nih, Hasma!

  5. I did watched Ayat-Ayat Cinta on TV3 that nite, the final 3/4th of it. Well quite interesting storyline & casting. Normally we were exposed to a girl or lady with so many admirers to tackle her heart out. But this one is about Fahmi, a nice guy with so many peminat. With that the story goes. And the Egypt surrounding make it alive and kicking. I did a posting entitled Jangan Jadi Seperti Fahri in my http://www.schooloftots.blogspot.com few weeks back. Just a reminder to my kids.

    Dear HishamAR,

I read your posting with interesting commentary and advice on love and finding love for your children. I love pieces written in bahasa. Really do lately…

  6. surat cinta ala-Muslimah – “aku ingin menjadi yang halal buat mu Fahri”..

aduh…. ternganga kitorang, tapi tak berani gelak because there’s truth inthat actually. memang betul pon what she said.. but if in real life cakap camtu kat malaysian men, memang ade yang lari tak cukup tanah satgi. ehehe..

    Dear Iron Butterfly,

LOL LOL LOL. Kalau cakap macam tuh in real life, memang semua lelaki lari tak cukup tanah.

  7. I’m beginning to like what I’ve read here.

    Keep on keeping on.

Greetings and lots of love from Kuale Kangsor (jiran Puteri Kamaliah tp tak pernah jumpa, lagi).

    Dear Arahman7,

I have been reading you ever since I found Cendana287. And I like what I read there, too, my new friend.

  8. Dear Ms Kamal

Loving someone and possessing them has always been, and will always be two separate things.

Sometimes they converge. But there will always be instances when they do not. This however, does not make the love any less intense nor the desire any less passionate.

    Dear Frank,

Is that so? That should make both of us, hmmm, skeptics?

  9. Salam,

I bought it at Kinokunia. Written by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, hailed as ‘little Hamka’ by our very own A.Samad Said.
